Having designed and built hundreds of patios, decks and carports, we know a thing or two about what’s involved in the process. We also understand our customers are often new to the world of home additions. Because we want you to have the very best experience every step of the way, we developed our unique 6-Step Process to Beautiful Outdoor Living. We understand that a new patio, deck or carport is more than simply adding value to your home. It’s adding value to your life too.
STEP ONE: CONTACT
The first step to bringing your concept to life is to contact us. Simply complete the online quote form and one of design consultants will be in touch to discuss how we can best meet your needs.
STEP TWO: DESIGN
For our initial discussion, one of our experienced design consultants will come to you for an obligation-free design consultation at your home. This is the perfect time to share everything that’s important to you about the new addition to your home.
Together, you and the design consultant can share ideas and discuss potential designs for your patio, deck or carport, considering your lifestyle, the architectural style of your home and ideal materials for your preferred design. We also discuss budget and finance with you, including information about the no interest finance options available through Pacific Patios.
STEP THREE: QUOTE
Using the inputs from your initial discussion, the design consultant will prepare a quote that includes a range of options, based on design and materials. If you have any questions or concerns about the design or quote, our design consultant will work through those with you to resolve them. We want you to feel 100 percent confident in your investment.
Once we receive a signed copy of the contract, it’s time to relax. Seriously! From this point forward, your design consultant will oversee all aspects of the project, taking care of council approvals and working closely with the construction manager when the build commences.
STEP FOUR: APPROVE
Correct building approvals for your new patio, deck or carport are essential, and while they vary between areas, a good rule of thumb is to expect approval to take up to 1-6 weeks. The approval will address any specific requirements for your home addition, including boundary relaxations and town planning applications. Your design consultant will notify you immediately the approval for your new patio, deck or carport has come through.
STEP FIVE: BUILD
Exciting times ahead! After council approval is received, we order materials for your job and schedule a construction date that works in with your life.
You’ll be introduced to the build team allocated to your project. Our people work according to our values and we’re confident you’ll find all team members respectful and diligent on the job. They take pride in their work and they’re as committed as you to creating a home addition that’s beautiful and functional.

STEP SIX: ENJOY!
A build doesn’t just include construction; it finishes with a thorough clean up on completion too. Our build teams are trained to leave your new patio, deck or carport looking fabulous so you can enjoy it from day one.
